The Library Board of Trustees has 3 full term (6 year) seats up for election this spring, at the election Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
The Library Board is the elected group of individuals that governs the library. Meetings are typically on the fourth Monday of every month at 6:30 PM in the library.
Interested people living in the Oglesby Public Library District are invited to stop by the library to pick up a petition packet on or after September 18, 2018. Candidates must be qualified voters who have lived in the Oglesby Public Library District for at least one year and must obtain at least 5 signatures on their petitions.
Packets are due back to the library between December 10, 2018, at 10 am and December 17, 2018, at 5 pm.
