Meet the Candidates Forum 3/12/2019 Posted on February 21, 2019
The Oglesby Public Library District is hosting a Meet the Candidates Forum for the general election on April 2, 2019. Individuals seeking elected office in the city have been invited to appear on Tuesday, March 12 at 6 PM to introduce themselves to the community and give a brief statement about themselves and what they plan to accomplish if elected.
Candidates will speak in the order they will appear on the ballot. After all the candidates have spoken they will be available for questions.
Oglesby Public Library District board candidates will be present and introduced but the focus of this forum is hearing from city candidates.
The program is open to the public free of charge. For more information, contact the library at 815-883-3619.
