Join Us for Our Summer Reading Program! June 6, 2015
Starting Wednesday, June 10th at 1pm:
Read to the Rhythm at year’s Summer Reading Program!
Get ready to sing, dance, and make some noise at this music-themed youth event!
According to the Illinois Library Association, national research finds that students who participate in library summer reading programs scored higher on reading achievement tests at the beginning of the next school year than those who did not participate.
Why not spend some time at your library this summer?
No sign-up is necessary and all children up to 5th grade are welcome to join us for story reading, crafts, music, and snacks! The program will run every Wednesday at the same time throughout June and into July. Please check the calendar for exact dates.
We recommend that a parent or guardian accompanies any children under the age of 8 to the program, but older children are welcome to be dropped off and picked up afterward.
Feel free to give us a call at 815-883-3619 if you have any questions!
