There Be Monsters at the library 10/20/2016

Join us Thursday, October 20, 2016, from 5:30 – 6:30 PM for a musical evening full of legends of mysterious creatures and everyday dangers that lurk beyond charted waters. Tom Kastle, our presenter, is a singer, sailor, actor and teller of tales. He is a licensed sailing captain, a faculty member of the Old Town School of Folk Music, and co-founder of the Chicago Maritime Festival. The night is suitable for adults and kids grade 6 and up.
This is the third of Three Third Thursdays with a Musical Theme at the library this fall supported by a grant from OmniArts and funds from the Friends of the Oglesby Library.
