Successful Meet the Candidates Night! March 27, 2015
On Thursday, March 26th, the library hosted a Meet the Candidates Forum for Oglesby residents to meet and become familiar with all those running for either mayor, commissioner, or library board. We are happy to say that the night was a hit and we hope to continue this tradition for future elections.
The Oglesby Public Library District Board of Trustees and Staff Members would like to extend a huge thank you to all the candidates of Oglesby’s April 2015 election!
The candidates in attendance (listed alphabetically) were David Blair, Gary Carey, Shelley Cooke, Austin Cullinan, Donald Finley, Carrie Lijewski, Tom Porter, Dominic Rivara, Sam Tillman, Rich Vollmer, and Dennis Yborra. Pictures of the event can be view below.
