Bat naturalists, Dan and Sharon Peterson return to Oglesby Library on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, 6 – 7 PM with a program that will educate and entertain you with exciting facts about bat species!
Dan and Sharon’s presentation will allow you to see images of bats, hear their echolocation calls, and watch a short clip of bats eating a variety of foods. Along with bats of the world they will show slides of native species in Illinois and discuss the difficulties facing our natural bat species and what can be done to conserve them.
After the lecture, the performer will display live bats and other unique animals and answer questions.
