Cold Weather? Visit Your Library, November 10, 2019

May contain: nature, outdoors, weather, ice, frost, snow, car, transportation, and vehicle

As cold weather approaches, remember the library is a warm place to hang out!

Come in, check out a stack of books to read at home, or curl up in one of our comfy chairs! We also have newspapers, board games, puzzles, and coloring pages.

We open at 10am every day except Sundays. We close at 5pm Mondays and Fridays, 8pm Tuesdays through Thursdays, and 4pm Saturdays. If the library is closing due to wintry weather, we will have it posted on our website and facebook page, and a sign on our door if possible.

If you can’t make it in, visit our eBook catalog and use your library card to check something out to read. You can read books on the Axis 360 app or even read them online!

If you must travel, check out Illinois Department of Transportation’s Winter Road Conditions website. You can see if roads you wish to travel are reported to be clear of ice and snow, covered with patches of ice and snow, or snow or ice covered.
