Members of the LaSalle-Peru Township High School Board and superintendent Steve Wrobleski will meet with community members in an informal coffee talk meeting at 6pm on Thursday, April 16th here at the library.
This is part of a series of public meetings the LP School Board offers to give community members the opportunity to learn more about what is happening at LPHS this year.
Future coffee talk meetings will be announced later.
This meeting is open to the public.
On Thursday, March 26th, the library hosted a Meet the Candidates Forum for Oglesby residents to meet and become familiar with all those running for either mayor, commissioner, or library board. We are happy to say that the night was a hit and we hope to continue this tradition for future elections.

The Oglesby Public Library is hosting a Meet the Candidates Forum for the general election which takes place on Tuesday, April 7. Individuals seeking office for elected positions within the city have been invited to appear on Thursday, March 26 at 6pm.
Each candidate in the race for mayor, city commissioner, and library trustee has been invited to introduce themselves to the community and give a brief statement about themselves and what they plan to accomplish if elected. After all candidates have spoken they will be available for questions.
The program is open to the public free of charge.
